The National Council of Negro Women, Inc. (NCNW) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit membership organization founded in 1935 by Mary McLeod Bethune. Our mission is to advance the opportunities and the quality of life for women of African descent, their families and communities.

The National Council of Negro Women, is open to all who share a commitment to empowering women of African descent, their families and communities.
